Have your vet give a THOROUGH exam, and pay particular attention to your dog’s heart…if the episodes come and go, that is my first guess. During these episodes, open her mouth and check her gums…are they normal colored? are they very light? very red? This can HELP diagnose when there is not enough blood pumping through the body.

She could be. Ataxia is a brain issue. She is at the end of her lifespan. You might have to make some decisions before long rather than leave her to suffer.

i gave my mongrel b*tch cod liver oil tablets ( on the advice from vets) she was 14 and she had very stiff joints it worked wonders for her but plz make sure u talk to ur vet first

If you love this little dog, please get her to a vet. I’m no vet, but the same thing happened to our bulldog and it was the beginning of the end. Thirteen is quite an old dog. She probably is in pain…please don’t leave her like that.

arthritis comes on gradually… if this is sudden it could be stroke or cancer…sorry…..vet asap!!!!

A visit to her vet will help all of her problems. Incontinence in older dogs is pretty common and that can be helped. A vet can also tell you why she's falling down and why she's in pain. Dogs this age really, really need a vet check-up twice a year. If you think about it, a dog seeing the vet only once a year would be like you only going to the doctor every 7 years. Not too good, is it? Especially for an older dog.

she might have arthritis or hip dysplasia, often you can give over the counter arthritis med for joints. if you think it might be a stroke check with a vet.

Take her to the vet their maybe medicine to help her. Or just see what the vet says. She could also have arthritis or however you spell that.
