I may have Interstitial Cystitis. So, my urologist might do a cystoscopy. What does it feel like? Is there anyone out there with IC or painful bladder syndrome? I am VERY SCARED. Please advice. Will the dilation of the urethra in women cause damage resulting in urinary incontinence?
I don’t believe this will cause incontinece. There may be some very minor dribbling right after the procedure, but that should be gone before you even leave the office.
You should talk this over with your doctor before the procedure. The doctor can explain each step, the associated risks, and what you will feel.

i would imagine so yes. tena pads are designed for those small wee moments that many women have. pantyliners are more designed for "those discharge days". i would say that tena pads are for absorbing iccle wee moments.
These days I suddenly feel urge for urination and I have to attend to it leaving aside everything. Even if I take half a glass of water at bed time, I have to get up in the middle of sleep for piss. First off, are you a man or a woman?
If you are a man you need to have your prostate checked as this can be symptomatic of an enlarged prostate which may or may not lead to prostate cancer.
If you are a woman it may be that your bladder is weak from bearing children, etc. and there are exercises that can help to strengthen your muscles or there is a surgical procedure that can help.
Man or woman: it could be a urinary track infection which you will need to be tested for and given antibiotics to treat. It is also a symptom of diabetes to urinate frequently.

Coffee makes me have to pee. Milk doesnt do me any good, neither does caffeine.

I have put hundreds of animals on deramaxx and never had anyone report incontinence.
If your animal is lame from a neurological disease rather than an orthopaedic disease, it could be due to a progression of the neuro symptoms.
Rather than taking him off of the deramaxx, talk to your vet about other causes: bladder infection, bladder stones, hormonal, etc.
Everytime I sneeze or cough, I leak a small amount of urine.

They have medications for incontinence. Also, try abstaining from any liquids for a few hours before and while you’re there, and I don’t see why you’d have any problem.
It’s only been two months for me, and already I don’t even think about it. It just feels normal to me now.
Not too long, and I’d say the more frequently you wear them the more quickly you come to take it for granted. If you wear full-time after a few months it might start to be difficult to imagine going without them.
