i have had 3 kids and my pelvic floor aint what is was, i need to tone and tighten but keep forgetting to do the sqeeze and release excerises and i dont like the sensation when doing them.. i have seen different gadgets you can buy to help can anyone reccomend anything.

Kegels are the best thing to improve the tone of the pelvic floor. If don’t properly you will notice a difference and your husband will too. There should be no "uncomfortable" sensations unless you are doing them incorrectly. You want to practice just squeezing the vaginal muscles if that makes sense, not the buttocks. If you lie on your back it is easiest. You don’t need to do hundreds either, 20 or 25 twice a day for 6 weeks will show a huge improvement. Trust me, I’ve had 9 huge babies and it works.

when you go pee… stop the flow then start it again… that’s your pelvic floor… it will feel like you’re pulling your vagina up to your bellybutton. for true pelvic floor exercises… try not to tighten or squeeze your glutes (butt muscles) when you pull up and in… just your pelvic muscles.

The exercise where you contract the muscles you would use to stop urination are called Kegel exercises. There is a ton of help for these on the web, but basically you contract and release these muscles in sets of 10 or 20 several times throughout the day.

It has the side benefit of making your vagina seem tighter and you will have more control over it.
