    I’ve got my CSCS ( …
    I’ve got my CSCS (among other certs)and many times it’s a matter of ego that permits a person to objectively look at the science as it ought to be conceptualized. The saddest thing is when a person holds the CSCS, their words are listened to- meaning people follow their advise. So if your friend isn’t promoting 90% of lifts without a belt, you can sure bet he’s an advocate of the belt as a training modality. It DOESN’T MEAN that the belt doesn’t have use! It’s simply misunderstood.
