Take a leak. Stop the urine flow midstream. The muscle that interupts the flow is the PC muscle, which kegel exercising refers to.
The only advantage I can think of is that there is more chance of holding urine in a full bladder if you desperately need to take a leak.
I have heard that some men can achieve an orgasm by contracting and relaxing their PC muscles when they have an erection, though what pleasure that gives them, I have no idea.

I have been doing them for a while and can tell a difference during sex when I finish. It is simple to do the only thing I have a hard time is remembering to do them. You want to ultimately end up doing around 2-300 everyday to tell any difference.
